• The app displays Hours of Service (HOS) timers along with logbook graph charts and gauges. Users can benefit from engine metrics provided by the Electronic Logging Device (ELD), which connects to a truck's diagnostic port and transmits data to the app via Bluetooth. Key metrics shown include average fuel economy, coolant temperature, and boost pressure, with real-time detection of events like hard braking and speeding.
• Users can record, view, edit, and track various duty statuses in a logbook including On Duty, Driving, Off Duty, and Sleeper-Berth time. The app supports different US federal and intrastate HOS rule sets as well as Canadian cycle-1 regulations, with provisions for exemptions and annotations.
• The app assists in creating pre-trip and post-trip DVIRs, allowing users to store images and fuel receipts. It manages location data changes with duty statuses and facilitates reporting for IFTA filings. The app syncs with the DriverConnect portal providing real-time updates on HOS logs, DVIRs, and fuel receipts.
• For a subscription fee, users gain access to the Rand McNally DriverConnect web portal to store logs and reports for up to six months. Fleet managers can use the web portal to administer operations, communicate, generate reports, and track vehicle locations on a map.
• Users can communicate through messaging within the app and send workflows between drivers and fleet personnel. Receipts confirm message delivery status (sent/read), offering a convenient communication channel.
• The app is compatible with smartphones, tablets, or Rand McNally TND™ tablets.
